Jenny, With respect that is not necessarily accurate, I haven't looked at the site so I don't actually know. I have a site http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/fergys/index.html, the main URL is not http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/ this will just give you an error. Many host sites which people use have as the stem ~/yourname/. I tend to do the same as you with sites such as Ancestry, although I suppose I could use a tinyurl or bit.ly, but then maybe I'm a tad lazy!
