Using the "search" feature, I have been able to create the list I need for 
finding missing parents.  Thanks to those who responded.

When I used this in the past, it gave me a list of all 'oldest known ancestors' 
which created a checklist for extending each line. But I found it didn't help 
because each branch went somewhere different, so the ToDo lists for each were 
easier to handle.
