Kevin:

It depends on *where* the original source citation is.  If it's in a Word 
document or at Ancestry.com, then you can copy/paste individual elements of the 
citation into appropriate fields in Legacy but you can't do the whole thing in 
one operation.  We just had a fairly long thread (check the Archives) on 
Ancestry's source citation format and I agree with most of the posters that a 
good portion of their self-promotion can be omitted.

Creating proper source citations seems like a pain at first, but it gets easier 
with practice and it's one of the most valuable things you can do in building 
your database.
