Legacy charting is capable of making nice charts. A four generation ancestor chart will fit nicely on one page, but when pictures are added the chart becomes too big for one page. Unfortunately, the picture size cannot be independently controlled to fit the box. I discovered that if I export the oversize chart to a pdf file, then save it to my word processor, (I use MSWord) the chart can be re-sized to fit on a single page. You could also export the chart to a jpg or tiff file, resize and/or edit it in Photo Shop This works well up to a maximum of three pages. Reducing any more than that makes the printing too small to read. I hope some of you will find this hint useful. Chick Lewis
