Dropbox actually syncs 3 identical Legacy databases. There is a "My
dropbox" folder installed on each computer and the third at the Dropbox
website.

Install Dropbox on each computer - then open Legacy & save the database
to the Dropbox folder on ONE computer and Dropbox creates the database
on the other computer and website. Legacy knows where databases are
stored and will open and save to the same location. All three folders
should use the same name - I just use "Legacy"

The Dropbox folder installed on my computer(s) is in the My Documents
(XP) and Documents (Vista) folder.

The great advantage of having folders on your hard drive is being able
to work when the internet is not available. The next time you go online
- the other two folders are updated automatically.

You must be careful and not open the same database on both computers at
the same time (Dropbox gets all confused). You can certainly open
different databases at the same time.

Also I use Microsoft Live Sync (free) at the same time, which syncs a
lot of files (I think the limit is 20 folders each can have 20,000
files, pictures etc.)

Both Dropbox and Live Sync boot up when the computers boot up and live
harmoniously in my system tray(s).

When I have been researching as in Salt Lake - within minutes as I make
changes to Legacy or add jpgs or documents to my traveling notebook
computer - the items are "faster than a speeding bullett" synced
(copied) to my tower computer at home, thousands of miles away.

Great insurance against loss of records.
