Dottie,
To change what default program to use when opening a file with a PAF file
extension, you will have to change the association for the file. In Windows
7 go to Control Panel - Default Programs, then choose "Associate a file type
or protocol with a program". After the window finishes loading find the file
extension for a PAF file that you want to change and highlight it and click
on the "change program" button then locate the program that you want to use
to open the file with.
Hope that helps,
Russ

Subject: [LegacyUG] Unzip Problem

A couple of years ago when I tried to download more than one email picture
at a
time Legacy came up when it was not involved at all. Finally I decided that
somehow something had changed and unzipping the file was involved. That
system
was an EMachine with Windows XP and using OE. Now, on a new computer, Lenovo
and Windows 7, OE, I

have no trouble downloadinging several email pictures at a time.

However,  after backing up my PAF genealogy on the OLD computer to a memory
stick and restoring

them on the NEW computer the files have a Legacy logo even though they are
PAF
files. The heading is: "The Legacy logo ", "Aulerich Family Tree",
"2/33/2011
9:25PM",

"PAF File" "140KB.  I unzip with "TinyZip".

Any ideas as to why that happens and how I can correct it?  Dottie
