You can customize how it prints out by default or per individual citations!
For the defaults goto Options>Customize>and on the Sources Tab under Master
Source defaults pick "First time" and RTF Citation Style the first radio
button will probably fill your needs. Under Source Detail Defaults you can
set what the source defaults to when it is created. The rest of the boxes
are self explanatory. The source Surety is a handy feature also. To see what
the numbers mean just look in the help file under "Surety Level"
Hope this helps,

One of my "issues" with assigning the same information to everyone is that
it prints out over and over in a report. It takes a lot of space in the
report and is redundant to the max!

I am speaking of scanned letters. Each letter gives information about a
number of people in the family. I wish there was some sort of general
category where we could put information and material that pertains to the
family as a whole, rather than having to always assign to one family member.
I guess its just the way my brain works.

Thanks for all the ideas and comments.
