I do that, but I used eight colors. What I do is save the list in text, and import it to Excel, and color the cells to indicate which one is related to which of my great-grandparents. I can't supply a graphic example here, but I will try a text example. My list might look like this: <RED> <ORANGE> 1995-07-20 Photo James's headstone <BLUE> <BLUE> 1994-09-20 Kathy's War presentation, Nashville, TN <GREEN> <BLACK> 2009-07-22 Search for cemetery of the sister of Joshua. Wear snake protection!!
And so on. The first box tells me which great-grandparent the person is related to, and the second box is my "code" of how 'urgent' this is. Takes some getting used to, but works well for me. During a family reunion, the color will tell me right away the questions I want to explore. Thank you.
