I don't believe by version that the query meant two different version
of Legacy like 6 & 7.5.  He worked on his flash drive and then on his
PC so has different info on the two on the same version of Legacy.  I
believe I have read in some past E-Mails about Intellimerge and that it
should be very simple.  You would only be merging the actual data
bases.  So you might look for those past E-Mails.   Or perhaps someone
who has using this feature could comment.

You don't!

Those different files are all connected to your family file, which is
somename.fdb.  All the files somename.fg, somename.tc etc are linked to
that database.  If you look up "file extensions" in the Help file it
will tell you the purpose of the different files.

If you are working on, say, Legacy 6 in one place and then load your
file into Legacy 7 somewhere else you will not be able to go back to
working with it in Legacy 6.  Not sure if this applies in your case.
