I don't believe by version that the query meant two different version of Legacy like 6 & 7.5. He worked on his flash drive and then on his PC so has different info on the two on the same version of Legacy. I believe I have read in some past E-Mails about Intellimerge and that it should be very simple. You would only be merging the actual data bases. So you might look for those past E-Mails. Or perhaps someone who has using this feature could comment.

You don't! Those different files are all connected to your family file, which is somename.fdb. All the files somename.fg, somename.tc etc are linked to that database. If you look up "file extensions" in the Help file it will tell you the purpose of the different files. If you are working on, say, Legacy 6 in one place and then load your file into Legacy 7 somewhere else you will not be able to go back to working with it in Legacy 6. Not sure if this applies in your case. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
