Elizabeth - I personally extracted my records from the LDS films of areas of
Baden and Mecklenburg; however the FamilySearch site now has quite a number
of these records online and I can find my people in them. The records also
list the LDS film number from which the record was extracted. Click on the
"Learn More" link to see what areas are covered.

Good luck,
Kay

Some of my 'Germans' were in Württemberg. On the FamilySearch webpages,
church extractions have helped me get back to the 1670s. Use caution.
