In your existing installation of Legacy on the other computer, go to Help > General Information and make a note of your customer number.
Then when installing Legacy on the laptop, you'll have the customer number to enter. The free Standard Edition has everything in it. You just can't see the Deluxe features until you unlock them with your customer number. On the Legacy website www.LegacyFamilyTree.com, go to Help Center > Tips > "Moving Your Family File from One Computer to Another" for full instructions on doing this. You can also reach this topic through Legacy by clicking on the "Tips from the Experts" link in the Support section of the Legacy Home tab. You can also copy your usr files over from the c:\Legacy folder on the old computer to the new one after you've installed Legacy. That way you'll have all the same settings and preferences which you had before. BTW, just copying the Legacy7.LIC file over to the new installation doesn't register it correctly. It's best to make a note of the number and enter it either during the installation process or afterwards by going to Help > Unlock Legacy Deluxe.
