I very frequently receive LUG e-mails out of order: the answer received before the question; the appeal to move on received after yet more dead-horse-flogging; or a promptly-sent great answer received sometime after I post my not-so-great answer. :-)
So, I suggest that we don't count on timely back and forth interactions, as if this were a chat room. And I suggest that we all have a thick skin after posting, since replies sometimes sound 'grumpy' or hostile even when they weren't intended to be so. Also, if a reply asks for a clarification of the original question, that is a good thing -- it shows an intention to provide the most relevant help. Of course any topic that appears to touch on a legal, ethical, or religious question should be addressed in a technical, non-judgemental way. Your email just came to me, somehow got out of order. Thanks for the comment.
