Another possibility is to copy your Legacy captions to the images themelves
is to use a deluxe feature of Ltools
http://zippersoftware.com/wp/ltools/current-ltools-features/deluxe-ltools-features/

Set IPTC Data – copies Legacy Caption, Desc, Date, FileID, Surnames, and
UserIDs/RINs from Legacy to the attached JPEG’s IPTC fields.

This will add IPTC data directly to each .jpg image
