I agree with Don.

I would NOT use and will NOT use either Yahoo! and Google. One will get way to
much “Junk Mail” through them.

Thanks,

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Mailing list problems

I, for one, am completely satisfied with this FREE user group list provided by
Millennia. I see nothing wrong other than the odd thread break which is not
that big of deal. Maybe a different email program would be in order? I use a
gmail account for my genealogical purposes and the web based gmail handles the
threading very well most of the time.

Perhaps those that can't live with the way the list functions and don't want to
try different email services should try the message board at
http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.software.legacy/mb.ashx . It appears to be
fairly active and covers the same sort of topics that are discussed here.

It is my opinion that Millennia can chose to use whatever listserver they
desire and for whatever reason. I don't think many genealogy software
companies can afford a very large expenditure in order to provide a free user
group service. I would much rather see the cash spent on product development,
bug fixes and the excellent free webinars provided.

Yes, there is. It is Legacy's/Millennia's choice to use the problematic
listserver.

As one poster suggested, Legacy could use a much better server for this group.
Yahoo! and Google were suggested, but there are others that do a stellar job.
