I just ran check repair and can't find the error log. Help says: Error Log All actions taken during the verifying process are recorded in a text file named ERROR.LOG in the program folder. This file can be viewed with any text editor or word processor.
"program folder" = "Legacy" right? No file. Does that mean no errors? Nothing was repaired? I thought maybe "All actions" meant there would be at least a recording of the 170 or so steps with "successful" or something ? I would create a University Event and and put the relevant parts of the information above into the Notes field. Then create Events for the other significant facts. I have used the Cambridge Alumni list from Ancestry as a Source and used the Generic>Online database SourceWriter template, copying all the text into the Source Detail Text field. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
