I use notepad to edit text as well as scraping information from the web.  The 
benefit of the latter is that notepad automatically strips out any hypertext 
links.

If you have cut the text with Ctrl-Z you can paste it back again with Ctrl-V, 
provided you haven't put anything else on the clipboard (ie used Ctrl-Z or 
Ctrl-C) in the meantime.
