It’s my impression that *all* the old rubbish was intentionally brought over 
with the ability (and expectation) that it would be cleaned up by the users.  I 
suppose that’s reasonable, but some of my earlier ancestors are so horribly 
clobbered up that correcting/combining seems a hopeless task.

And by the way, are there separate archives for the LegacyFS mailing list?  If 
so, what is the link?
