Families for iPad questionMary:

Yes, that’s the way it works. And in my opinion it’s the best way to use the
app. If I come across data to enter when I’m away from my main system I
copy/paste the text and/or the link to one of the note-taking iPad apps and
then take the time to enter and source it properly when I get home.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Families for iPad question

Once my Legacy family file is synced to my iPad or iPhone, can I control the
sync feature? I want my desktop file to be the only one I edit and never have
the iPad file sync back to the desktop. I see in the Families Sync utility that
there are two selections, write to device and read from device. As long as I
don’t read from the device, my desktop file will remain my only file to edit?
Is this the way it works?

My thanks, Mary
