So what you are saying is, you are not actually putting one side of the split
screen on one monitor and the other file on the other monitor. You are
dragging the entire Legacy window and balancing it between the two monitors so
that the left split on is the left monitor and the right split is on the right
monitor?

I have just tried and confirm that with Legacy open (not maximised) showing a
split screen the Legacy window can be dragged across two monitors, so that the
split coincides with the join in monitors.

I have Win7 64 and similar but not matching monitors.

I don't know then. I don't remember setting up anything differently in
Legacy to make this work for me. And you shouldn't have to.
What OS? I'm running W7. I haven't been using 2 monitors as long as
you have (just a couple of months).
And if other applications able to be put on the other monitor I'm at a loss.
Maybe support can give you some ideas, sorry.

Okay, I have Legacy up and running on my main monitor. It is NOT maximized but
about 1/2 size. I have the split screen visible. If I try and drag either
side of the split screen, it will only go as far as the edge of the Legacy
window on my main monitor. It will not let me drag either side to the other
monitor. I have had 2 monitors for a couple of years now and I drag stuff back
and forth all the time but I can't get this to work.

You need to make sure your Legacy session is not maximized on the first
monitor. If it's not maximized you can stretch it to your hearts content. At
least I could. Make sure it's resizeable and then just stretch it to the other
monitor.

I tried dragging it over to the other screen but it won't let me.
