Howland,

Under Reports > Books is the Ancestor report which will place all
ancestors in numerical order beginning with the current generation that you
have chosen, and going back as far as you specify. The first "missing
sequencial" number is the one for your unknown ancestor.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Ahnentafel Report

First, I wish to create a short Ahnentafel report in order to find my
first unknown ancestor (see Genea-Musings Saturday Night Fun). I have gone to
Legacy Help and printed out the information on "To Create An Ahnentafel (or
Ancestor) Report." But I am having trouble finding the "Ahnentafel (Ancestor)
Book." What am I doing wrong?
Second, will the above provide me with the Ahnentafel number for each
person or should I be doing something else to get those numbers in numerical
order in order to find the first unknown person in my ancestor tree?
     Thanks in advance.

Howland Davis
