I think many of us skim through the messages quickly, especially when the list is quite busy, like now. I find that bottom-posted replies are frustrating to find and read quickly. Sometimes I just skip over them. Sure, if the thread is of great interest, then you make the effort, but most of us don't have time to carefully read every post on every single topic.
If we all use the same method, top or bottom, then the sequence of the thread is preserved. (Interspersed replies are another option, and good for helping someone with a multi-part question.) So, my vote is for top-posting rather than bottom-posting. Lately I have _trying_ to bottom post. Some others on the list also do. Everyone have a good day/evening. :) And No, I am not in a bad mood :P -- Tim Rosenlof Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
