It would help if you said which reports you are using where you want the extra space.
In the narrative reports add [cr] to the end of the event introduction to add an extra carriage return between the intro and the first event. If it is other style reports tell us which ones or look for an event intro sentence in the report settings where you can add the same [cr] code to add a carriage return.
