Just because there are fields there, it doesn't mean you have to fill them in. Just use the ones which are appropriate, or put some information in a field which has an "inappropriate" name if you wish. Try putting some details in and see what the resulting citation looks like. I just set up a "test" with the template you mention - I just put "Obituary Joe Bloggs" in the Detail Article field and entered an issue date, specific URL and access date. I ignored the Author, Page and Column fields. The resulting citation is: "Obituary - Joe Bloggs," Newspaper Title, 01 January 2001, online archives (www.something.com/article : accessed 06 November 2012). and the Bibliography is: State. City. Newspaper Title. Online archives. www.something.com. with the title of the newspaper in italics in both cases. That looks perfectly satisfactory to me. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
