Kathy,

I am afraid that I do not fully understand your question. I guess that when
you refer to "like 24th cousin 7 times removed" you are looking at the right
hand side of the Calculator, in my case this says "Mr Francis Saggerson
[1454]: Mr Ronald Ferguson [1]'s 2nd cousin 3 times removed's wife's
grandfather".

But the left hand side gives a list of every person, in order of
relationship - i.e. the path, from me to Francis Saggerson, which seems to
be what you require?

Subject: [LegacyUG] How is person connected?

I understand the relationship calculator but is there a way to find out how
a person is connected that is so far off (by marriage etc.) that they are
not 'related'?

I've followed some of my Swedish lines all over the place because it is
pretty simple and addicting to keep going on and on with the Swedish church
records but now someone found a connection to that research and I want to
let them know how my direct ancestors are connected to hers.

I don't need a relationship 'name' like 24th cousin 7 times removed by
marriage or something; I just want to follow each name that leads to the
other one. Like a little map showing me the way to Ancestor xyz.

Thanks for your help! Kathy
