Yes, I do by type also, but I only have two.  Maybe I'll do something like
"GEN DATA - MISC - FAMGRPSHEETS . . ."

As far as searching, I create a new .pdf of all my sources every few days &
search that --much faster than searching Legacy.  Esp. if you opt for the
citation summary so that it doesn't get hung up on everybody being cited!
