Richard,
If you go to Name List > Options > and check Include Married Names, you
get double listings for married women. When you go from the highlighted
person on the Family screen to the name list, it sometimes, but not
always, takes you to the top of the list, to the people with no surname,
rather than to the highlighted person. I don't know why it sometimes
takes you to the highlighted name and sometimes not.
When you uncheck the married names option, it goes back to the normal
state of taking you from the person on the Family screen directly to the
same person on the Name List.
Is this you problem?
