Thankyou for the screenshot. Well I wonder why mine is different. I have the
latest version.
Perhaps Support might have a suggestion - when it is daytime in their part of
the world.

Thanks for your help.

Yes that is what I am doing - Book Reports - Ancestors. The report is
headed Ancestor Book. Are they not greyed out for you?

Where they're not greyed out is the report known as "Ancestor Book"
report.

Thankyou for your suggestion Randy. I have gone over the process very
carefully several times and confirm I was requesting a report and not chart.
If it gives any clues to the mystery, the following fields are also
greyed out. Not that I need to use them on this occasion except for Children of
each spouse.

B and D dates on names
        Children of each spouse
        Last modified date
        Marriage information
        Other parents
        Childrens notes

You'e probably on the "chart" and not the "report".

            Thankyou Brian,
Yes, I have done exactly as you have said but the "children of each
spouse" is greyed out and therefore I can't turn it on. "Other Spouses" is OK
and selected. I have the latest update 7.5.0.218.

            Regards

Yes you can have the children of each family included in the
Ancestor
Report (the narrative version not the chart).
Go to Reports > All Reports (Books and Others)
              Select Ancestors
Click on the Report Options and then select the Include Tab
In the list of options on the left turn on the children of each
spouse
and other spouses options (in case any ancestors have multiple
spouses)
              Close, then preview the Report
