Unfortunately, the "work - around" is to create an event to link the image
or document to.
These "events" will show in the ancestor and descendant reports.

So, for instance I have a "Tombstone" event, which is basically a
duplication of the "Burial Place Picture"
Then a "Birth Record - Civil" event which is a duplication of Birth Record
picture where I have the scan of the birth record.
Same for "Marriage Record" which is a duplication of the Marriage Record
picture, for a scan of the marriage record document (or attached as a
"file" if it is a .pdf )

Then make sure that your report settings you have checked the include event
pictures box.

It works well, but someday maybe Legacy will fix the issue so that you dont
have to duplicate the data in order to show the linked media.
