Cliff, I have always used AVG free almost without problems. The odd virus which I have picked up has been removed by AVG and I have never had to reinstall the o/s.
Legacy must be on your PC to run, but it costs nothing to reinstall/download, so no problem just don't forget your reg. Number. Ron Ferguson.
