But, yes, I agree. I have a totally functional old desktop that I still use for "kids games and tutorials" that runs Windows XP (OK, it contains some of my old games too). It will never get upgraded beyond XP because it is too old to support the newer operating systems (and, even if it did, it wouldn't make use of the newer OS's features). So I will miss the XP support/updates/patches.
