Richard, Click on the Medical Notes tab on your cousin’s Individual’s Information screen. There you will see the field for the cause of death as well as space to write any additional notes.
I would record your grandfather’s birth name (that which was recorded on his birth certificate or baptismal/christening certificate) as his main name and then I would add his Americanized name as an AKA. I might also write a little note explaining that he preferred his Americanized name. Another thing you can do is use a name in quotes in the given field. If you go to the Help file and type in quoted names you will see how to do this AND when it is appropriate to do this instead of using the AKA field.
