Pat, Works best for me to use the split screen view, pedigree view, and find someone who is in both files, if possible. Drag and drop from the same person in the left file to the one on the right. Review ALL the options for merging to make sure you get everything.
Do not stop the merging procedure before it is completed! Then do file Maintenance as soon as you have completed the merging.
