Worse news I have 3 other family files on my PC and every one has the same problem: "0" in the upper left pane of the wife's view. Is the solution to uninstall Legacy and reinstall? I do have the original CD, but it isn't the latest version. Should I reinstall from the internet or from the CD & then update? Please guide me through this. Norma

Try this to see whether there are any problems in the data that can be fixed. You may have to perform this several times - until no errors are detected. If the problem persists, I would guess the final solution would be to reinstall Legacy. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
