Mike, thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I have both of them in my data base and I have her linked to the person she married. When I try to add another husband to her, I get the message that I have to have a name - well I don't. What am I missing? I do appreciate your patience.

The first to the father of the child and he might be unknown. So step one is to add the woman. Step two add the child and link it to the mother. This will create the first 'marriage' to an Unknown man. Step 3, add the husband to the mother, creating the second relationship. Lastly, set the child relationship to this second man as step- Remember. In Legacy Marriages do not necessarily involve a wedding. They're just relationships. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
