The scheme below would be good except for the fact that we generally
want to be able to produce alphabetical lists of occupations and that
type of thing. But it seems that it would be possible to consolidate all
the Cordwainers into a single item and just list the different dates in
the adjacent note section?  Multiple dates don't work for sorting, I
guess, if used in the date field.
