I believe you may be talking about the name list. If that is the case, then you have 6 tabs across the top of the right-hand side and if you happen to have notes selected and there are no notes for the individual then it will be blank. Check to see which of the 6 tabs you have selected.

I have been right through the Options, but can't find a way to get that information back into the 'Detail' of the individual. There is no problem with the other five tabs - Edit, Events, Notes, Family etc. Working on a very large database, I rely a lot on that detail field. How do I get it back? Thanks for any help.
