You UNLINK the children from the wrong parents and then LINK the children to
the proper parents.

In the Family View with the children you need to unlink listed in the
children's list below, right click the child you want to unlink and then select
Unlink from parents. You will get a warning message. Go ahead and unlink the
child. Now bring up the correct parents in the Family View. Left click into a
blank child space and select Link to an existing son (or daughter). The Name
List will come up. Pick the right child and there you go!

Subject: [LegacyUG] Moving children and replacing people.

My great grandfather has two children attached to him that belong on the other
branch of the family. I tried removing them but my great-grandfather got
removed instead. Is there any way other than entering all the information to
get him back again? Also what is the correct way to remove children from a
parent and put them where they belong?
