Carolyn, when you say "manual," are you referring to "Legacy Charting"
accessed from the Help Tab within Legacy?

Looking at the sample from Linda, which is very nice, Legacy will also
allow you to add your own background to a chart or tree.


I created a dropline chart with a photo of each person, and used an old
sepia photo of the street the family lived in as a background.


When this was faded a little it looked really good and has wowed all the
rellies.


 


I found the charting chapter in the manual very helpful for this, and
creating other customised charts.
