Send me a screenshot of how you have it set up in FTM to
mich...@legacyfamilytree.com <mailto:mich...@legacyfamilytree.com> and not to
the LUG list.

No in FTM you can put what info youd like on the side. So i added cause of
death. I added a pic of what iam talking about. It blank if it was blank in
ftm. If there info it there. But i can not put or take any info out of that
field. In the sources i can list the facts but that all.

You said you entered the cause of death under Burial. Did you add it as a note
or??

FTM uses TWO different gedcom tags for cause of death (no clue why they would
do this). They use the _DCAUSE and CAUS. It depends on whether or not there is
also a death date associated with it. For the cause of death to transfer
properly it needs to be entered as a FACT in FTM. Whether FTM used the _DCAUSE
or the CAUS tag, Legacy will pick it up properly if it was entered as a FACT.
However, if you have entered it in some other way then Legacy may not be able
to pick it up.

Hello,

Iam moveing my family from FTM to legacy. In FTM i put cause of death in the
info feild under burial. Now Legacy shows cause of death but i cant interact
with it. The surces i can add but nothing else. Ones with it show up but others
just show the tag. Any idea where/how to fix this. I trying looking under
events. nothing there.
