You may not also realise that by using the events entry method you can any 
other person who shared that event be it residence, trip, etc.

I enter addresses as a "Residence" event under marriage information for 
couples. You may have to create the residence event.

As you will guess, I’m fairly new to Legacy but managing fairly well.

 

I would like to record where married couples and individuals lived at different 
times.

 

Where should I record this information to that it related to both spouses and 
appears in reports?
