The FAG search function leaves much to be desired. It needs an alternative index of surnames in which a search for a last name variant links to the same person. Who ever contributes the memorial can choose only one name variant - with or without the "de", "van", "von", etc., to say nothing of the many different ways a name was spelled over time and even in the same document!
The problem is with FAG, not Legacy. This action is required because of the DMARC Reject/Quarantine Policy imposed by some email providers. Users who want to send messages without conversion to attachments should use a different email address for their subscription. Known providers for free email accounts whose emails do not require this conversion include gmail.com and hotmail.com. Many other email providers will also work but you will have to give them a try.
