Ken,
Legacy 9 should be remembering unless you are saving to a drive that
isn't always connected.
It is now file specific so different files can be saved to different
locations.
However some people have had trouble with the location resetting on
updates or taking some time be remembered (me). I think the location was
finally remembered for me (I've been using a different computer for a
few weeks)when I backed up from within the program rather than on exit
but I have yet to test that.
