GedSite can be used to make private sites, and many users do so. Also, GedSite can be used to create sites that are not published on the web at all, but rather copied to a DVD or thumb drive and given to interested parties. An important advantage for TNG is that you can make it completely private so no one can access your site unless you grant them access. You can also do that on MyHeritage. CE
