I also use Ancestral Quest on my Mac. It’s a Windows program, but it’s wrapped in a customized version of WINE. It runs as if it was a native Mac app.
Perhaps Legacy could take a page out of Incline Software’s book? Also, if one must switch to a native Mac app, some would consider Reunion to be the best. No interface to FamilyTree/FamilySearch, though.
