The problem with the weird date error when you open FamilySearch error will automatically fix itself tomorrow. If you need it fixed today here is what the programmer said...
“Both Legacy FS and Charting display the news feed from Legacy. Both programs download the news feed file each day and only once in a day. So if I user runs LFS or Charting when the news feed file had a bad date, they will have a crash is each program until tomorrow OR they need to delete the news feed files from their computer. The following is what the news feed file is called in each program and where it is located. You can tell customers to go and delete these files and then run LFS/Charting again. Legacy FamilySearch File name: legfsnews.txt Located: "C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\Legacy FS" Legacy Charting file name: chartnews.txt Located: "C:\Users\<USER NAME>\Documents\Legacy Family Tree\LegacyCharting" Michele -- Michele Tech Support Legacy Family Tree mich...@legacyfamilytree.com <br...@legacyfamilytree.com> http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com <http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/>
