Oops. Forgot to mention that the "selecting Individual Events" is in
the "Missing Sources" tab of the Search dialogue.

I now have a reasonable solution to finding events that are missing
any source. After I suggested to Legacy to add an "Undocumented
Sources" report, Michele pointed out a way of doing it.
In the Find dialogue (Search > Find), select "Individual Events",
click Create List, and then use the Event tab (not the Sources tab)
in the resulting Search List. Look for any events which do not have
an icon in the "Has a Source citation" column.

Thanks, Cathy. I see your point. And selecting a single field as
you suggested found the right people OK, and I could home in on
that field in their 'Individual's Information' and 'Assigned Sources' screens.
However it's fairly tedious working through setting and searching
on each field, and if you select multiple fields at a time it's
tedious working out which fields apply to which people in the results.
Also, that search screen does not help at all when looking for
missing sources on Events as opposed to on personal details. I
think you would just have to check through every person in the
database looking for missing source icons against their Events in
the 'Individual's Information' screen.
I was hoping that there might be a Report or somesuch for Person >
Undocumented Events, like there is in Family Tree Maker - for each
person in the file it lists only their data fields and events which
do not have a source citation, and you can click on each person in
the report to edit them. Perhaps I should send a suggestion to Legacy.
Thanks,
Peter

Peter,
You need to be a lot more selective in your choices.
If you haven't, for example, added a source for the Parent-child
relationship for everyone, your criteria would pick them up.
Try searching for people without birth sources, for example, and
then move on to another criteria.

Is there a way of getting a list of any people and their details and
events which do not yet have a source citation? i.e. tracking down
where I am missing sources?
I have tried:
Search > Find > Missing sources > Find individuals with missing
sources on:Anything > Create list
but it only seems to give me a list of all individuals with their
details and events and their sources, not identifying details or
events known to be without sources.
Thanks,
Peter
