I would prefer to add a new husband you could label him as unknown.

You might try making the child Invisible – that should work.

Subject: [LegacyUG] child - Parent linking

Hello

I an trying to figure out the following issue in Legacy

I have a couple that were married and had no children.

They divorced

The mother had a child by another man, but I do not want to show the father.

Each time I run my Descendants list it shows the child as a child of the
marriage.

I am unable to disassociate the child from the marriage.

Removing the child and changing the marriage to “This couple has no Children”
and then adding the child back in does not work.

It again shows the child as being born to the parents of the marriage.

Any ideas of how to get around this?

Thank You

Bill Scott
