A quick search shows:
"Q: I use Gmail/Googlemail, but when I send a message to a list that I am
subscribed to I never get a copy back.
"A: There is a problem with gmail/googlemail - when you send a message to a mailing list,
any mailing list, gmail doesn't show you your own message as it comes back from the list.
Everybody else sees it, even other gmail users, but not you. And replies to your message will
be threaded with your post as you sent it, not as it came back (ie without list headers,
subject tags or footers). This is a "feature" of gmail, and there is nothing you or
the list administrator can do about it.
"If your list has archives that you can check, you can at least see whether or not
your message got posted to the list. "
Strictly a gmail issue when sending to mailing lists.

This is not a GMAIL issue.
ALL major mail systems are based on a defined standard (Simple Mail Transport
Protocol), and have the ability to request a return. The issue is wither or
not you have set the automatic option, on your email account. You first need
to check your options on your account. If you have not set the correct option,
you will not get an automatic copy for EVERY message you send. Check with your
provider if you REALLY want this option set for all emails you send.
If you only want a return form selected emails, try using the appropriate SMTP delivery
codes, usually "CC" (Carbon Copy).

Thank you for the reply message because I never receive copies of my
email to the legacyusergroup. Is that true for everyone?
No, because I am not using Gmail. I think it is Gmail that doesn't send
you back your own posts.
