Did you click on the Charting icon on your taskbar before you used
Alt-Spacebar (You have to hold both down at the same time)? Since that is a
standard Windows feature it should have done something.

Yes I did this time and time again to no avail.

Sometimes Windows will "forget" to put a window in a visible area. It may be
hidden above, below or on either side of what you can see on your monitor.
That is what I meant. If, as I do, you have multiple monitors and one is not
turned on then Charting could be opening on that missing monitor, this is
another reason a window can open but not be visible.
