Try running File Maintenance > Check repair on your family file. You can do that to a file that is not opened so open Legacy using the Sample file that comes with the program then close the sample file and run file maintenance on your file.

Rather worthless suggestions!

    The Legacy tech support suggesting

    1. exporting to a new file and then loading that
    2. Restoring to a previous backup
    3. Exporting via GEDCOM

    Subject: [LegacyUG] Error 3049

I just tried to open my Legacy and received the above error.  It
only says "Rebuild Source Citations." It gets to 341 of 389 then
    says "Cannot open database"

I am at the latest update of both Legacy and Win 10.

    Any help appreciated.

FWIW I do have a recent backup after my last update.

    Wes
